| 摘 要： | 科技英语中以消极修辞最为常见,消极修辞不仅具有单纯的表意功能,而且在内容上、形式上、逻辑上及格调上分别赋予科技英语朴实准确、紧凑精简、严密清晰、恰切得体的本色美。翻译时应遵循适切、简明、连贯、庄雅的原则以再现科技英语之美,力求译文在保有原文风貌的基础上最大程度地符合汉语的审美与修辞习惯。

| Abstract: | As a rhetorical device most commonly used in EST,passive rhetoric not only bears an informative function,but endows EST with preciseness in content,conciseness in form,clarity in logicality,and appropriateness in style.Accordingly,translation of EST is supposed to reproduce the beauty of the original under the principles of fitness,terseness,fluency and elegance so as to adapt the translated language to the tradition of Chinese rhetoric and aesthetics. |
