宾兴研究与科举学

"宾兴研究"是科举学的新兴研究门类。从科举起源来说,宾兴曾是广义科举制最早的源头;从科举典礼来说,宾兴礼的出现使科举典礼系统与科举制度分级相互呼应;从科举经费来说,宾兴既是政府财政性科举经费的统称,也是民间捐资助考经费的统称;从科举社会研究来说,宾兴作为古代教育第三部门,为研究者从社会结构与功能的综合性角度对科举社会进行剖析,提供了极佳的个案。

Binxing Study and the Study of Imperial Examination

Binxing study is an emerging branch within the field of Imperial Examination(IE) study.As far as the origin of IE is concerned,Binxing may be considered the earliest form of IE in a broad sense.Talking about IE ceremony,it is argued that the appearance of the Binxing ceremony brought about interactions between the system of IE ceremony and the system IE gradation.In terms of IE funds,Binxing is the general name for both IE funds from public finance and the supportive funds donated by people for IE takers.As for the aspect of social study of IE,Binxing,as the third sector of ancient Chinese education,serves as a perfect case for researchers to study IE society in an integrated perspective of social structure and function.
