| 摘 要： | 为了研究英语法律文书的语言特点,采用理论分析和实证分析的方法,对法律文书生僻词多、繁长句多、被动句多和模糊句多等特点进行了深入探讨。结果表明:英语法律文书应变生僻词为通俗词、变繁长句为简短句、变被动句为主动句、变模糊句为准确句,使法律条文更便于理解,更有利于运作。

| Abstract: | Legal documents in English are those with implementation and instruction functions, representative of right and duty. The language in the legal document is a quite typical legal language, which can be assumed in lexical selection and syntactic structure and its unique grammar. The language has a special tradition and remains some problems to deal with,and a reform in writing is in making quietly. |
