王昌龄开元年间仕履新考辨

王昌龄开元年间初仕宦迹,史料记载语焉不详,令人考订又多分歧。通过对唐代选举制度及相关诗文钩稽、辨证,对王昌龄这段经历予以考订,昌龄开元十五年进士及第,通过关试进入守选,曾于当年五月参加制举而未中,开元十九年与二十二年两中宏词,分别被授予校书郎和汜水尉,而后职是开元二十三年春授的。

New Examinations and Dialectical Analysis of the Working Experiences of Wang Changling in Kaiyuan Period

The historical records of Wang Changling' s experiences as a government official in Kaiyuan period is not detailed. Besides, relevant studies of modern researchers are somewhat different. This article, through examinations and dialectical analyses of the electoral system prevailed in Tang Dynasty as well as of some relevant prose, has drawn a more convincing conclusion: in the 15 year of Kaiyuan Period, Wang Changling became an imperial scholar, and thereafter he became Shouxuan (a candidate for exams of higher positions) by successfully passing the Exams for Imperial Government Officials. He once took the Examination for Scholars the same year and failed however. In the year 19 and 22 of Kaiyuan Period he twice took the required exams and was admitted by the Hong Ci Department, because of which he was thereupon conferred respectively the titles of Xiaoshuwei and Si Shuiwei (both are official positions), and the latter was granted in the spring of the Year 23 of Kaiyuan Period.
