生态文明：和谐社会的第四乐章

党的十六大之后,我们在三个文明建设中取到了巨大的成就,特别是经济发展方面,持续创造着世界经济奇迹。但是,我们已经开始明显地感觉到生态环境对三个文明建设的制约,没有良好的生态环境,就没有健康和谐的社会生活,就无法构建各方面协调发展的和谐社会。人与自然和谐发展的生态文明,是和谐社会的基础和前提。把生态文明放在物质文明、精神文明、政治文明的同一序列,已经是大势所趋。"四个文明"缺一不可,只有"四个文明"建设好了,才能平稳地支撑起和谐社会的大厦。

Ecological Civilization: The 4th Symphonic Movement of a Harmonious Society

After the 16~(th) Congress of the Communist Party of China,great achievements have been made in the construction of the three civilizations in China.In the development of economy in particular,China has been creating world's economic miracles.We have noticed,however,that our ecological environment limits the construction of the three civilizations.If we don't have a good ecological environment,we shall not be able to enjoy a healthy and harmonious life in society,and will not be able to construct a harmonious society with coordinated development.The ecological civilization of the harmonious development between man and nature is the base of a harmonious society.As the trend of the times indicates,ecological civilization will be juxtaposed with material civilization,spiritual civilization,and political civilization.Every one of these "four civilizations" is inevitable.The mansion of a harmonious society can only be stably constructed when these "four civilizations" are well cultivated.
