The growth of women's forces in the united States Trade Unions

There have been more and more female union members playing an increasingly important role in American labor movement since 1970s. There are a lot of reasons for it. Only several primary ones are discussed in this article, including gender change of labor force, wage gap between male and female workers, situation of jobs occupied by women and opinion change of AFL - CIO on female workers. Together these factors have brought about the strengthening of woman force in unions in the U.S.
