重评蚩尤与苗族族源研究中的几个问题--苗族古史研究述评之一

本文对近20年来关于苗族族源问题的研究状况进行了基本总结.文章概述了学术界重新评价蚩尤的基本观点,认为应还历史本来面目,将蚩尤与炎帝、黄帝同列,共尊为中华民族的三位始祖;文章还就九黎、三苗的有关史实及二者之间的关系,苗族先民与东夷、南蛮的关系,以及如何利用考古资料说明和印证苗族先民的历史等问题,作了扼要的综述,并进一步阐明了作者本人所持的一些基本观点.

A Recomment on the Problems in the Studies of Chiyou and the Origin of the Miao Nationality--One of the Comments on the studies of the Ancient History of the Miao Nationality

This paper sums up the researches on the issues of Miao ethnic origin in the recent twenty years.This article summarises the basic views in making new comments on Chi\|you.stating that we should range Chi You together with Yan Emperor and Huang Emperor as the three earliest ancestors of the Chinese Nation.The second part makes overall and concise statement of the following issues:the relevant historical facts and the relationship betwwwn Jiu Li and San Miao.the relationship between Miao ancestors,Dong Yi and Nan Man (Ancient minorties in Eastern and Southern China),and the issues on how to illustrate and probe into the history of Miao ancestors by making use of archaeological materials.Besides,the basic views held by the author are further explanined in this part.
