论唐前刺客传说的文化内涵

刺客作为一个特殊的历史群体，有关他们的文献记载一方面反映了刺客为报答知遇之恩不惜抛头颅洒热血的品质；另一方面也反映了他们在自己所信奉的忠信仁义思想观念与儒家传统发生矛盾时无法解决的困惑。因而，随着历史的发展，社会道德观念的逐渐完善，刺客们的这种对个别人忠信仁义的行为也就很难为后世所接受。
