试论方言与地域文化自信

我国各地的语言使用情况复杂, 方言差异明显。多样性的方言也正是各具特色的地域文化的优质载体。地域文化借助方言词语得以凝聚, 地域文化之间的差异及发展轨迹也通过方言得以体现。在现代化的进程中, 方言受到挤压趋于式微, 地域文化也不断萎缩。方言和地域文化被贴上了“落后”的标签。方言的式微, 折射出的是一种对传统地域文化自信的缺失, 也将导致精神归属感与文化认同感的缺失。面对方言和地域文化, 既不能“文化自负”, 也不能“文化自卑”, 而应树立“文化自信”, 不忘根本, 立足现在, 着眼未来。

On the Relationship Between Dialect and Regional Culture Confidence

Language use in China is complex and dialects vary from region to region. The diversified dialects are carriers of regional cultures. Dialects not only represent regional cultures but also demonstrate their individual differences and development. In the process of modernization, dialects have been gradually marginalized and regional cultures weakened. Dialects and regional cultures have been labeled as"backward". The decline of dialects reflects the lack of regional culture confidence, which will further result in the absence of the sense of belonging and the cultural identity. Instead of "cultural inferiority" or "cultural conceit", we should have "cultural confidence" in dialects and regional cultures.
