大众化教育背景下提高研究生培养质量途径

在高等教育大众化背景下,中国研究生教育受到升学动机、教育成本、办学条件、管理体制等因素的影响,出现了研究生专业基础不扎实,优秀生源流失或投入科研和学习的时间不足,导师队伍、教育经费、办学条件等落后于研究生发展速度,管理部门缺乏动态、发展的引领评价机制,导致研究生培养质量下降。研究生培养单位应借鉴国外研究生教育的基本经验,汲取行之有效的措施对策,扬长避短,注重建立完善的质量保证机制,建立科学、合理的制度,使研究生的教学、管理走上制度化、规范化、程序化和现代化,确保研究生的培养质量,实现数量与质量、规模与结构的协调发展,以此促进研究生教育的快速发展。

Strategies for Improving the Quality of Postgraduate Education in the Background of Popularized Higher Education

In the background of popularized higher education in China,the quality of graduate education is affected and constrained by such factors as study motivation,educational cost,condition of running a school,management system and so on.The factors have caused problems to Chinese postgraduate education.For example,postgraduates are commonly poor in the major basis;excellent students are very hard to enroll;it is very difficult to enable the postgraduates to have full time for research and study;the tutor ranks,educational outlay,conditions of running a school,etc all lag far behind the development of postgraduate education;and the concerned administrative departments lack of a set of dynamic mechanism of guidance and evaluation.All this has led to the drop of the postgraduate education quality.The departments in charge are suggested to learn the basic experience in postgraduate education from abroad,introduce their effective strategies,give play to Chinese strong points and avoid Chinese shortcomings,pay much attention to establishing a perfect quality control system,establishing scientific reasonable systems so as to systematize,regularize,program and modernize the postgraduate teaching and administration,guarantee the quality of postgraduate education,realize the harmonious development between quantity and quality and between scale and structure,and thus contribute to rapid development of the Chinese postgraduate education.
