| Abstract: | So far no official regulations have been made on whether internet slang words can be introduced into English textbooks. Yet such slang words have made their entry, as teaching contents, into some college English textbooks in China. Internet slang expressions are still considered informal, therefore it is not proper for the textbook writers to include them in the English textbooks used in colleges across China. |
