| 摘 要： | 运用系统功能语法中的语篇功能理论对两个特殊文本——回译文和原文（英语原始文本）进行实证性对比研究。结果发现,两个文本尽管是严格限定在同一语篇框架内围绕同一叙述主题而生成的,但与原文相比,回译文在语篇层面的主位结构、主位推进模式和衔接手段选择上表现出明显的随意性和盲目性,从而影响了整体语篇信息的有效传递。本个案研究揭示了两个平行样本的语篇生成差异,为进一步探索语篇翻译的转换规律及二语写作提供参考。

| Abstract: | Based on empirical research, this paper attempts a contrastive analysis of a source text in English and its back-translation （ BT ） by an EFL learner from the perspective of theme, patterns of thematic progression and cohesive devices in functional linguistics. Though confined to the same topic within the same framework, the BT deviates from the source text on different levels for the translator＇s arbitrary management. This data-based discrepancy is both understandable arid enlightening for translation practice as well as EFL writing. |
