“土木工程概论”课程教学的几点思考与探索

"土木工程概论"课程讲授应注重课程体系尤其是知识体系的介绍,引导学生重视技术哲学和工程哲学,并重点介绍建筑工程、道路与桥梁工程、水工与岩土三个专业课程组,把主要专业基础课和专业课按基本研究方法分成四种基本类型,即基础理论类、应用理论类、工程实践类和管理类.对前三类课程在逻辑结构和学习方法上重点讲解,使学生真正了解土木工程中相关专业方向的工作内容和特点.

Considerations on the Course of Introduction to Civil Engineering

The teaching of Introduction to Civil Engineering should stress on the introduction of the course system,especially the system of knowledge,instructing students to focus on the philosophy of technology and engineering philosophy.Three specialized courses should be highlighted: construction engineering,road and bridge engineering,and hydraulic and rock-soil engineering.The principal basic courses of the specialty and the specialized courses are divided in four groups according to the basic research methods: basic theories,applied theories,engineering practice and management.The logical structures and learning methods of the first three groups should be specially explained so that students can understand the contents and characteristics of the specialties related to civil engineering.
