论90年代的家族小说

以家族小说表现历史变迁与文化沧桑,构成世纪之交中国文学呼应世界文学的特殊景观.其一显示出对民族现代转型的精神关注乃至历史主义的自信;其二借家族叙事呈示历史寓言,体现当代作家退回内心的忧思;也出现了某种"衰败历史的形式".20世纪的中国文学从家族母题切入五四的时代主题,90年代家族小说更注意发挥家族叙事的自由空间,表现民族及人类的生存特点.

On Family Stories in the 1990s

With a family as the micro cosmos, family stories showing historical and cultural changes have become a special genre to link Chinese literature with world literature at the turn of the century. Firstly, they have displayed the spiritual concern or even historical confidence for the national transformation. Secondly, they tell historical allegory with family narrative and thus express the writers' withdrawal into the internal self. But there also appear some forms of the historical decline. The Chinese literature in the 20th century has seen the family theme as well as the social theme in the May 4th movement. In the family stories of the 1990s more stress is given to free narrative on family matters so as to reflect the main features of human existence.
