| Abstract: | China is characterized by its dual economic structure in the urban and rural areas. It has become urgent to bridge the gap between urban and rural areas. The specific conditions in the Three-Gorge Reservoir area and the vicious circle of impoverishment in rural areas are analyzed. The causes of the formation of the dual economic structure in the Three- Gorges Reservoir area are revealed. Some countermeasures are put forward. |
