| 摘 要： | 奥尼尔善于从人物内心的冲突和斗争探讨现代人在失去精神信仰后的惶惑不安以及必然失败的悲剧命运,同时通过肯定人物在追求失败过程中表现出的尊严与力量,赋予这些失败的人物以悲剧美感.《天边外》《榆树下的欲望》《奇异的插曲》和《悲悼》是奥尼尔四部著名的心理悲剧,表现出奥尼尔对人物心理世界的深邃透视和人物心理冲突产生的巨大悲剧力量.

| Abstract: | Eugene O'neill is good at probing people's alarm,worry and fateful failure after they lost their faith.His plays expose people's spiritual crisis underlying the American economy glory.He affirms people's dignity and strength in pursuing their evitable failure,and endows them with tragically aesthetic feeling.His four famous tragedies:"Beyond the Horizon","Desire under the Elms","Strange Interlude" and "Mourning Become E1ectra" play an important role in his dramas,and their heroines expose strong psychological conflict and same thirsting for possession. |
