涉外专业学生的语用失误分析

摘    要:提高学生的语用能力是大学英语教学的最终目的。涉外专业学生语用能力的高低将决定今后工作中与外商沟通的成败。调查结果表明,涉外专业学生语用能力令人担忧,本文从话语的内容和形式两方面分析了他们的语用失误,指出学生在话语形式上的语用失误占多数,故了解交际双方的文化、掌握操英语者的话语形式是避免语用失误的关键。

Abstract:To develop students' pragmatic skills is the final purpose of College English teaching.Foreign-related majors will have more and more chances to contact the foreign countries,so they are required to have better cross-cultural communicative competence.We tested them on their cross-cultural pragmatic skills.The pragmatic failures are analyzed from both speech content and ways of speaking,It is pointed out that the most pragmatic failures are those concerning ways of speaking,and that learning how to speak correctly in cross-cultural communication is the key to solve the problem.
