| 摘 要： | 结合体态语和成语的特性提出了英语体态语成语的定义，并从语义学角度给出英语体态语成语的3种特性，即语义透明性、转义性和语义晦涩性，通过英汉体态语成语对比找出其共性和差异，并结合具体实例给予解释和支持。

| Abstract: | This paper attempts to define body language that specially uses body features as idioms of speech. It explores three major characteristic features of English body language idiom from the perspective of semantics, that is, the characteristics of semantic transparency, semantic transference and semantic obliqueness. It also attempts a probe into the convergence and divergence of English and Chinese idioms of body language. All of these will be explained and supported by a series of examples. |
