经学振荡式发展的原因及启示

我国古代的经学,由西汉今文经学到东汉古文经学,到魏晋“王学”,到南北朝隋唐疏注之学,到宋明义理之学,到乾嘉考据之学,经过了四次振荡式发展。造成经学振荡式发展的原因,主要有社会文化需求的阶段性变化、实现儒学社会价值与追求儒经学术品位的矛盾,以及经典文本特点（主要是文词的多义性和句义的可扩展性）这三点。经学振荡式发展规律告诉我们,二十一世纪的国学研究,必须贴近现实,面向社会,为大众服务。

Eason and Enlightenment: Towards the Study of Confucian Classics

The ancient Chinese classics studies, which evolved from Western-Han's "Jin-Wen" to Eastern-Han's" GuWen", Wei-Jin's" WangXue", annotational studies in Six-Dynasty Period, Song-Ming's rationalism and to Qing's textual studies, underwent four vibrating developments. The main reasons lie in the periodic variations of social and cultural needs, and the contradiction between implementing social values of Confucian and pursuing academic taste of Confucian classics, as well as the contextual traits of classics, especially the multi-meanings of Chinese language and characters. All of above demonstrates that we should pay more concerns in society and down-to-earth to improve our Sinology studies in the 21th century.
