| 摘 要： | 美国南方女性的成长是凯瑟琳·安·波特中短篇小说中的一大主题.选取<旧秩序>小说集中的几个中短篇,运用成长心理学,分析南方女性在社会转型时期的成长历程从自发反叛压抑人性的旧秩序,到奋力挣脱强加于女性身上的"他者"形象;从彻底与旧秩序决裂,到离家远行,寻找自我.

| Abstract: | The initiation of American southern females is a major theme in the stories of Katherine Anne Porter. This paper analyzes a few short stories about the growth of three female characters of different generations while applying the theories of psychology to trace the female growth in the turning phase of a society: from unconscious rebelling against the old order to struggling against the image of "the other" on females, and from completely breaking away from the old order to leaving home in order to find self-identity. |
