The Changing of Female Education in Victorian Age

The age of Queen Victoria is an era of changing. The changing in the female education has been witnessed following the reform in economy and politics during this age. Starting from the 1850s, the traditional female education, which was dry in content and focused mainly on marriage, was fiercely challenged. Some women pioneers from the middle class attempted the first reformation in the female education. These tries, which covered all the way from the contents of education to the right to receive equal education, became a milestone in the painstaking and laborious process of the whole reformation in the female education.
