| 摘 要： | 随着我国开放政策的实施与科技的发展,科技文献的翻译越来越显示了其在科技文化传播中的重要作用。科技英语的翻译与语用学诸多理论的交叉研究也得到了语言学家及翻译家的重视。本文即通过实例解释语用预设理论对翻译实践的指导作用,提出在科技文献翻译中合理应用语用预设不仅可以使译文篇章简洁并主次分明,还可以对译文信息链的延续有着重要的作用,从而达到衔接、连贯语篇的目的。

| Abstract: | More and more importance is attached to the translation of English scientific literature,which plays a great role in exchanging scientific and technological knowledge while linguists and translators have been highlighting the interaction between pragmatics and translation. This paper deals with the application of pragmatic presupposition, which is an important theory in pragmatics,to translating the scientific literatures and deals with its function on translation in economizing the text, in continuing the information as well as cohering the discourse. |
