| 摘 要： | 在英汉两种语言中 ,习语都是构成语言的重要组成部分之一 ,它具有文字精练、遣词隽永、形象生动鲜明和富有韵律节奏等特点。中英文习语浩如瀚海 ,极其深广。本文从与动物有关的中英文习语的对比和翻译两个方面进行了归纳、总结 ,以便激发人们对英语学习的兴趣 ,提高翻译及鉴赏能力。

| Abstract: | Idiom is one of the most important parts of the language both in English and Chinese. It has many characteristics, such as succinct writing, proper choice of words, vivid and bright images,and it is full of metre and rhythm. Both Chinese and English idioms are as vast as the open sea, extremely profound and extensive. Through contrast and translation of the Chinese and English idioms related to animals, the paper has drawn an interesting conclusion so that it can stimulate people's interest of English studying and raise the ability to appreciate and translate English. |
