| Abstract: | Idioms are the crystal of the wit of a people or a nation. They embody the linguistic and cultural characteristics of the people. Hence, idiom translation becomes a difficulty in translating literary works. Idiom translation needs to know much common sense, one of which is to know the cultural differences of idioms in two languages. |
