| 摘 要： | 在不同的文化中，数字不仅具有简单的计算功能，而且蕴含的文化信息能鲜明地体现该民族的思维方式、社会政治、传统习俗、社会心理，等等。文章比较了数字“三”在中西文化中的不同涵义，并对其差异形成的原因进行分析，探讨可行的翻译方法。

| Abstract: | Figure has not only calculation function, in different culture, but the cultural information it bears embodies the ethnic thinking way, social politics, traditional custom, social psychology, etc. distinctively. This paper compares the different meaning of figure ＂3＂ in oriental and western Cultures, analyzes the reasons of the differences, also discusses the feasible translation methods. |
