桂林回族宗族的形成与特征

宗族在不同的历史阶段、地域、文化背景下往往呈现出不同的形态。文章论述了清代以来桂林回族宗族的形成与特点，认为明代入桂的回回人世系相继不辍、人丁繁盛，桂林回族士绅阶层的形成及修谱建祠、设置族产、会族等活动的开展，是推动桂林回族宗族形成的重要因素。以宗族活动传承伊斯兰文化，宗族迁徙影响回坊兴衰，宗族功能的不完整性是桂林回族宗族的主要特征。

The Formation and Characteristics of Hui Clan in Guilin

Clan, in different historical periods, and under respective geographic and cultural backgrounds, emerged with various forms.In this paper, the author discusses formation and characteristics of Hui clans in Guilin since Qing dy-nasty.Hui Muslims came to Guilin during the Ming Dynasty.Population increasing, Gentry class forming, genealogies edi-ting, Ancestral Halls constructing, clan property up-setting and a clan gathering etc.are important factors for Hui Muslims in Guilin to promote the formation of Guilin Hui clan.Inheriting Islamic culture, migrating in and out of Hui community and imperfection of clan functions, are the main features of Guilin Muslim clan.
