全球化进程中的“文化殖民”与中国传统文化在全球化时代的命运

全球化不仅是经济的全球化,也是文化的全球化。全球化进程包含着文化殖民,这是一个携带着强大资本与发达技术的西方文化不断扩张的过程。这个过程经历了三个重要阶段,即基督教、近代启蒙思想和当代美国主义的全球扩张。中国传统文化在全球化时代的命运问题,实际上是一个中国文化与主导全球化进程的西方文化的关系问题,也是一个中国人如何应对文化殖民的问题。在文化殖民的进程中,中国传统文化的命运起伏不定。在文化殖民的第一个阶段,中国传统文化一如既往地自信;但是在第二个阶段,中国传统文化遭受了重大挫折;在第三个阶段,中国传统文化有复兴迹象,但由于这个时代的特殊背景,传统文化的未来命运仍然扑朔迷离。

There was not only a kind of the economic globalization,but the cultural globalization.The course of the globalization included cultural colonization whose essence had been expansion of west culture with powerful capital and developed technique.In the course there were three stages which had consisted of global expansion of Christianity,thinking of enlightment and American culture.Chinese traditional culture's fate at the age of globalization is not only decided by the relations between Chinese culture and west culture that had determined globalization,but related to the Chinese attitude toward cultural colonization.In the course of the cultural colonization.In the first stage of cultural colonization,Chinese were confident in their culture as ever before;But in the second stage,Chinese traditional culture suffered strong set backs;In the third stage, Chinese traditional culture had the trace of reviving,but if we had allowed the particular background of the age to continue,the fate of Chinese traditional culture would have been complicated and confusing.
