摘    要:本文从信息加工角度探讨了在外语课堂中如何创设语言输入的良好机遇和条件的问题。文章首先对二语习得中有关语言输入的理论做了简要回顾,然后借助McLaughlin的外语学习信息加工模式,从资源限制过程和材料限制过程分析了影响学习者语言输入的因素。在某一特定学习阶段,学习者认知资源相对稳定,材料因素是影响学习者有效利用有限的认知资源、完成输入加工的主要因素。在研究如何创设良好的输入机遇与条件时,语言形式特征、输入的性质类型、学习者加工输入的环境等因素均须引起研究者及外语教师的注意,忽视任何一点,就可能难以准确把握外语学习的规律。

Abstract:The author,from the information-processing perspective,investigates the opportunities and conditions for optimal second language input in foreign language classroom setting.Firstly,it attempts a brief review on the theories of second language input.Secondly,it explores the factors influencing optimal L2 input in reference to McLaughlin's information-processing model.Finally,it argues that L2 learners' cognitive resources are constant at a single time point.As a consequence,data-related factors,including the internal properties of language structure,the manner of input exposure,and the processing circumstances,to a large extent,determine the successful conversion of input into intake.Ignorance of any of these factors would make us unable to understand the principles of second language learning.
