梁启超"绌荀申孟"的荀学研究析论

晚清时期 ,梁启超受尊孟抑荀思潮影响 ,力主“绌荀申孟”。随着时代变迁 ,他的荀学研究逐步深入 ,认知荀子的态度不断转变 ,从“儒家中最狭隘者”的指责到“社会学之巨擘也”的肯定。尤其是到了晚年 ,荀子“创为儒家的知识论”成为梁启超荀学研究的基本定论。

On Liang Qi-chao's Views about"abasing Xunzi while Praising Mengzi" in His Study of Xunzi.

During the last years of Qing-dynasty, Liang Qi-chao,who had been influenced by the thought of respecting Mengzi while abasing Xunzi,strongly advocated the views of "abasing Xunzi while praising Mengzi".His views varied with the passage of time and his study of Xunzi. Gradually he called Xunzi "the Master on Sociology"instead of "the person who has the most parochial-outlook in the school of Confucianism". In his later years, he concluded that Xunzi had found the epistemology of the school of Confucianism.
