蔡元培和谐教育思想及其当代意义

摘    要:蔡元培先生和谐教育思想,根于"中和",融通中西,以培植和谐人格为教育之终极目标;主张学术独立、思想自由;以兼容并包的办学方针,积极推行五育并举、和谐发展的教育理念;并主张将胎教、幼稚园、小学、中学、大学统筹安排、打成一片,实施终身教育。蔡元培之教育理念及教育实践对当代中国之教育改革,有极深极广的借鉴意义,为现代教育向和谐教育转向提供了不竭的理论和实践支持。

Cai Yuanpei's Harmonious Education Thought and Its Contemporary Significance

Abstract:Mr.Cai Yuanpei adhered to the thought of Harmonious Education, which rooted in the "neutral and harmonious thought", and inosculated the Chinese traditional Culture and the Western Culture. Mr. Cai took cultivating the harmonious personality as education's ultimate objective, advocated the academic independence and the freedom of thought. He also took the compatibility as his education policy, carrying out the education idea positively which was developing five nurture ideas simultaneously and harmoniously. He insisted to integrate prenatal care, preschool, elementary school, middle school and university. He also implemented the lifelong education. The education idea and practice of Mr. Cai had great significance to the Chinese educational reform, and provided drainless theory and practice support for changing from modern education to the harmonious education.
