Review of Rural China 's Situation in 2002

The hot spots, key problems of rural China has been reviewed in this paper, including aspects of livelihoods, social problems, ecological environment, legislation and farmer' rights protection, village election and autonomy, township institutional reform, tax and fee reform, urbanization, etc. It is concluded that problems in rural China be more complex than before, different component closely interlinked, and the solutions to these problems rely on the external environment.
