| Abstract: | A spectral transform method for solving initial boundary-value problems for linear and for integral nonlinear PDEs has been introduced recently by Fokas.By using this method,the mixed boundary value problem for the modified Helmholtz equation in a wedge is discussed.The problem is changed to solve a Riemann-Hilbert boundary value problem.Finally,the integral representation of the solution is obtained in closed form. |
