| 摘 要： | 选词辨义是成功翻译的基础。译者对源语和目的语历史文化的了解有助于译者准确选词，妥帖表达。以现代汉语“白”为例。借助现代汉语语料库分析其常用义项，并对其相应英译进行归类分析，为译者提供可资借鉴的范例。
