| Abstract: | The upper limit of the modern capitalist movement in China is the Westernization Movement and its lower limit the failure of the National Revolution. There are two clues for the modern capitalist movement, one being the activities of the capitalists themselves, the other the activities of the progressive intellectuals. The major role is the progressive intellectuals. |
