知性文化以人和自然的对立为前提、以人征服自然为目标、以科学理性为人性根据.它的这些特征,决定了它所能做出的文明贡献,也决定了它必将面临的种种危机.为了摆脱危机,我们必须倡导一种与知性文化根本不同的德性文化.德性文化以人对自然的归属为前提,以人与自然的自主和谐为目标,以综合的理性为人性根据.从知性文化到德性文化的重建之途,自我控制是首要的一步,自我升华是其后必需的一步.

On the Rebuilding of the Modern Culture from Intellectual culture to Ethical culture

Based on the conflicts between human and nature, aimed at human conquering nature, on the evidence of human nature originating from rational nature, the features of intellectual culture will make contribution to civilization and will be faced with varieties of crisis. In order to shrug off crisis, we must advocate another culture - ethical culture. Ethical culture is based on human attributing to nature, aiming at building the harmony between human and nature and regarding the comprehensive rational nature as the evidence of human nature. On the way of rebuilding from intellectual culture to ethical culture, self- control should be ranked number one, followed by self- actualization.
