Owing to the fact that the world after the cold war bears a lot of similarities with the time of Wilson, and that Wilson＇s diplomatic failures have left deep lessons to the founders of America＇s present national security strategy, the world after the cold war is still haunted by Wilson＇s phantom. The paper provides an analysis of the Wilson doctrine tradition characteristics in the U. S. national security strategy, and discusses about the significance of their moral precepts and multilateral precepts to the post-cold-war world.
