| 摘 要： | 文章通过对高等院校工科专业双语教学的课程设置、教学方式和方法、师资、教材、评价体系以及与"专业外语"和"大学外语"关系等进行讨论,认为加强对工科专业双语教学课程以及教学方式和方法的改革和创新,大力选拔和培养双语教学师资,引进和编写高质量的双语教材,建立双语教学的科学评价体系,使工科学生在外语的大环境下学习,是培养21世纪高水平人才的一个重要环节.

| Abstract: | In this paper the issues about the curriculum planning, teaching means and methods, teachers, textbooks, as-
sessment system for bilingual teaching for engineering majors, and the relationship among bilingual teaching, technical Eng-
lish and college English, are discussed. It is held that strengthening the reformation and innovation of bilingual teaching and
its teaching means and methods, selecting and cultivating bilingual teachers, importing and writing high-quality textbooks,
setting up a scientific assessment system, and creating a foreign language environment for students, are very important to the
cultivation of high-level intellectuals in the 21st century. |
