二十一世纪：世变方激，中国回族研究急需社会学/人类学的大视野

本文简明综述了新世纪的时代特点，指出作为发展中国家的中国及其少数民族之一的回族，在“千禧”、“西部大开发”的机遇和挑战中应有的清醒认识；进而对族人在中国的出现、群体形成被认同、及其文化、民族过程，作了粗线条地反观；在对回族研究的基础、条件、得失有所反思的基础上，提出了据回族发展、分布时空、族群与文化、文献积累诸特点，对回族的研究迫切需要加强对基础性社科之一的社会学及人类学的关注。以便准确认识回族的文化面貌，审时度势，与时俱进。

Research on Hui People of China should be Conducted from the Perspectives of Anthropology and Sociology in the 21th Century

By analyzing the environmental,political and social issues at the start of the new century,my article points out that Hui people and the people of other nationalities throughout China should make their own choices when facing the opportunities and challenges provided by Millenium and Western development.By reviewing the appearance of Hui people and their development in China and analyzing the study of Hui people in the past, I have found the research inexhaustive and consequently put forward the idea of necessity for doing our research on Hui people from the perspectives of anthropology and sociology.
