武汉临时联席会议对日外交研究

国民政府北伐期间,提出了“打倒帝国主义的”口号,但在实力未足的情况下,对帝国主义主要采取分而击之的原则。而国民政府联络的首要对缘便是日本。日本出于自身利益的考虑,也对国民政府表示了友好之意。武汉临时联席会议成立后,与日本积极接触,协调中日关系,通过一系列交涉谈判,在满蒙等重要问题上基本达成了双方都较为满意的协议,从而保证了国民政府对英行动的成功实行。

Research of the Diplomatic Relations of Wuhan Temporary Central Committee and Japan

During the period of Northern Expedition, the National Government brought forward the slogan "Overthrow the imperialism" under the principle of "divide and rule" . The chief target for the National Government to unite was Japan. Considering her own interest, Japan showed her friendship to the National Government. After the foundation of Wuhan Temporary Central Committee, by a procession of negotiation with Japan, the two sides reached some agreements on some important issues, which, to some extent, ensured the success of combating Britain.
