| Abstract: | The grotesque is a central category for modern aesthetics. As cultural phenomenon,its origin can be dated back to symbolism in primitive cultures. As a concrete form,it welts absurdity with terror. As a structural form,it tends to convey tragedy in the costumes of comedy,through which the ugliness of reality is garnished by the representation of absurdity. |
