从缩小分配差距谈社会主义新农村建设

十六届五中全会所提的建设“社会主义新农村”，是在统筹城乡发展的大背景下，在工业反哺农业、城市支持农村的新阶段，农村经济、政治、文化建设的总称。现在我国“社会主义新农村”建设面临千载难逢的发展时机。我国政府已经把民生问题提升到前所未有的高度。完善农村的社会保障体制，给予农民公平的教育机会，保证农民平等的政治权利，向农民提供向上流动的渠道，才能从根本上缩小城乡差距。
