| Abstract: | The contradiction between the high expectation of society for sci tech foreign language talents and the poor translation ability of non English majors is analyzed. The problems with the current foreign language teaching in colleges and universities are discussed. On this basis, effective measures to cultivate the translation ability of non-English majors in institutions of higher learning are put forward. |
