On the Edition Evolution of Wen Yiduo's Works and the Molding of His Collected Edition as Well as its Significance

As a Chinese modern poet and scholar, Wen Yiduo wrote a huge number of texts and documents. The publishing of his works experienced a long process. The evolution of the editions of his works was rather complicated. The compilation and printing of The Collected Edition of Wen Yiduo is of multiple values. It has not only political sense, but also rich cultural sense. It has sampling significance in the history of Chinese modern literature and of Chinese modern learning as well as in the history of the spiritual development of the Chinese modern intellectuals. This paper explores the four phases of the edition evolution of Wen Yiduo's works and the process of the publishing of his collected edition, and illustrates the significance of the publishing of his collected edition.
