| 摘 要： | 儒家思想的影响、鸦片战争后的社会氛围、清代文化的专制主义与排外主义以及反西化的历史渊源,分别为晚清保守思想形成的理论根源、现实根源和历史根源.保守思想对中国的近代化进程产生直接和间接的阻碍作用,但是,在中国近代化进程中,儒家思想也具有一定的进步作用.

| Abstract: | This paper is a study of the theoretic , the realistic and the historical causes of formation of the conservativetrend in the late Qing Dynasty. It includes the influence by Confucianism , the social climate after the Opium War , cultural absolutism , xenophobia and the deep rooted mentality of antiwesternization. The conservatist trend blocks the development of Chinese modernization though Confucianism is of certain help in the meantime. |
