中国—东盟博览会在南宁举办,将给广西带来勃勃生机,也给广西图书馆信息服务带来机遇与挑战。中国—博览会将是图书馆信息服务新的生长点:中国—东盟博览会的举办,需要大量的信息,从而直接推动图书馆信息服务生长点的形成;区域经济的大发展,必将吸引大量人才,人才的聚集直接对信息产生需求;教育文化事业的发展,为图书馆信息的服务造就更广大的用户群。因此,要充分发挥图书馆信息资源优势,服务博览会:加强图书馆信息资源的建设;完善图书馆信息服务的管理机制;对外开放高校馆藏信息资源。要增强信息服务质量意识,优化服务功能;形成信息服务产业,参与市场竞争。

CAEXPO: an Opportunity and Challenge to the Information Service of the Libraries of the Present Guangxi

The holding of CAEXPO in Nanning has brought thriving prosperity to Guangxi as well as opportunity and challenge to the information service of libraries of Guangxi.CAEXPO will be a newly-increased point for the information service of libraries due to the following reasons: a large amount of information needed for the holding of the Exposition will directly push forward the newly-increased point for the information service of the libraries;a large number of personnel needed for the great development of the regional economy will stimulate the necessity of information;the development of the educational and cultural causes will produce a large number of readers for the information service of the libraries.Therefore,we should fully exert the resourceful information advantage of the libraries to serve the CAEXPO;strengthen the construction of the information resources;perfect the management system of the information service;open the information resources of the universities to the outside readers;enforce the quality of the service consciousness of the information and optimize the service function;and set up information service industry to participate in the market competition.
