开展社区语言教育,放弃外语教育

摘    要:
行之有效的外语教育实际上都是社区语言教育;没有社区支撑的外语教育则事倍功半。如果从社区实践的条件来划分第二语言教育,只有两类目标语言:一类是社区语言,另一类是社区外语言。前者可以学以致用;后者只是为了教学的目的。语言战略的视角不允许我们浪费宝贵的语言习得资源。语言经济学的视角提示我们语言教育规划的成本收益分析。当前的最佳选择是:放弃外语教育,全面开展社区语言教育。

Developing the Community Languages Education and Abandoning the Foreign Languages Education

Abstract:
The effective part of foreign language education virtually turns out to be community language education, and foreign language education will be less efficient without community. If the second language education is divided by the conditions of the community practice, there are only two kinds of target language : one is community language, and the other is non -community language. Community languages are learned and used whereas non -community languages are studied only for the purpose of study. The perspective of "language strategy" forces us to cherish the valuable language acquisition resources. The perspective of language economics prompts us to know cost - benefit analysis of language education planning. With the two perspectives, the best option is : fully developing education of community languages while abandoning foreign language education.
