Zhang Shizhao's Luojiwen is a unique style of Chinese prose, which has received some attention, but not enough. An objective evaluation will be made in this article. First it is engaged in something about the name of Luojiwen, then it tries to manifest that Zhang Shizhao was a writer who kept an eye on styles .We find that his essays show great modernity among the contemporaries, and his style also promotes the development of Chinese prose,which is proved by article's deviation from prose. They mixed the strong points of both Chinese and western prose, so the words are clear and concise, and the organizations precise and considerate. It changed the superficial trend that the new literary style had brought to the writers. Luojiwen played a potential role in modern prose and influenced the prose -writing profoundly.
