| Abstract: | This essay examines the characteristics,evolutionary changes and possible historical and religious causes for the characterization of the distorted Christ-like figures in William Faulkner's works,which contrast sharply with their counterparts-the common fellows maintaining the fine qualities of humanism in the same novels,hence presenting a new perspective of understanding William Faulkner's thought of religion. |
