依托英语专业学科内容培养涉外旅游人才实证研究

摘    要:通过依托英语专业学科内容培养涉外旅游人才的实证研究,采用定量研究和定性研究相结合的方法,对参加依托式旅游英语教学的学生群体(实验组)和传统教学的学生群体(对照组)进行对比实验分析。研究表明,实施依托式旅游英语教学的实验组学习动机更为明确,学习愿望更为强烈,语言水平和专业技能的提高较为明显。

Abstract:This paper is an empirical research of training English majors with both international tourism proficiency and linguistic skills by elaborating content-based Instruction into course teaching and practice. With the application of both qualitative and quantitative research methods,an experiment is conducted in two classes( experimental class and control class) and a contrastive analysis is performed. The results show: implemented with content-based Instruction in tourism English course teaching,students of experimental class are motivated with more explicit learning motivation as well as stronger intention and rewarded with higher proficiencies in both language acquisition and professional skills.
