文明来自东方--就宗教和神话谈近东文明对西方文明的影响

西方文明兴起较晚,当希腊、罗马文明兴起之时,近东已有上千年的文明.因而西方文明不可避免地受到古老近东文明--苏美尔、巴比伦、埃及、波斯诸文明的影响.尤其是近东各民族的宗教和神话对希腊、罗马乃至基督教的影响甚为久远,经由他们的融合吸收、加工提炼,最后成为今日西方文明的一部分.

Civilization Comes from the East: On the Influence of Eastern Culture to the Western Culture

When the Greek,Rome civilization rose,the civilization of the East had existed for more than1000 years.Thus inevitably the old eastern civilization: Babylonian,Egyptian and Persian civilization made influence on the west civilization.Especially the influence of the eastern religions and myths on Greek,Rome and even the Christianism was permanent,namely being integrated and refined the religions and myths became one part of the Western civilization nowadays in the end.
